Veteran's Day For "Our Smaller Brethern"

I was watching the Veteran's Day Observance Ceremony at the National WWII Monument, and it was very beautiful. Even though I was in my own house I stood up and put my hand over my heart when the honor guard performed the national anthem. I am very patriotic. Lots of people got up and spoke giving praise to all those men and women that sacrificed so much to give us the freedom we enjoy today, which every one of them so deeply deserve. I could never thank the men and women of our military enough.

But one thing struck me.

What about the brave and loyal dogs that helped us win every war we have ever fought? Many of which suffered and died in the line of duty just like our soldiers. And let us never forget about the brave dogs that were thought of as nothing more then used equipment and were abandoned in Vietnam. There are veterans today that were the companions of those dogs that never got over leaving behind their comrade in arms in the jungles of Southeast Asia. Whoever in the government implemented that mandate - well, I don't know how they can live with themselves. And what about the cavalry that pulled the equipment and carried the soldiers into the Great Wars? Europe was littered with their corps after they was over. Being the animal lover and conservative animal rights person that I am, I would even go so far as to give tribute to the carrier pigeons that were used to send messages during WWI and WWII. They may have been using only instinct to carry out their mission, but it was a mission non the less and they still gave their lives and helped us win the wars that kept the world safe from such evil it is still hard to imagine. So this is my tribute to all our, 'Smaller Brethren," as Saint Francis would call our animal friends. This is in honor of all our animal comrades that wear the same badge of any man or woman veteran of any war, and deserve the same thanks, appreciation and honor.

Denmark - Beyond Barbarians

Denmark is Beyond Barbaric

Below is Probably the most disturbing email I have ever received. It came to me from a friend of mind who happens to be Chinese. I had heard of what young men and boys of Denmark did at "The Cove," but I don't believe I had ever actually seen it. I had nightmares about it all last night and I must say it is not easy to cut and paste all these gruesome photos into this blog. But it must be done to let the people of the world know what is going on.

After viewing these photos and reading this email, it is no wonder why Hitler was able to accomplish what he did. He certainly couldn't force everyone to do his dirty work. There were plenty of evil people who were glad to do it. And, as these pictures and explanations of them will show you, there still are plenty of evil people to go around.

These people are beyond barbaric. They are evil and sick, and anyone who associates with them, or does not condone this, is just as guilty and this includes the wives, the mothers, sisters, brothers, the friends of these sick individuals as well as the government of Denmark who allow this to go on.

By the way, Juron van der Sloot, is from Denmark. The don't get any more sick and evil then that bastard.

Please keep list going around the world....hit forward

it’s not because of the climate effects of nature.
這不是由於自然氣候導致的

It's because of the cruelty that the human beings (civilised human),

Everyone is participating in one way or the other .
每一個人都有自己這樣那樣的慶祝方式。

親自參與謀殺,或以極大的對殺戮熱情和對生命的殘忍作著一名看客。

Is it necessary to mention that the dolphin calderon
我們有必要對卡德龍海豚有些瞭解。
like all the other species of dolphins,
他們就像其他種類的海豚,
it’s near extinction and they get near men to play and interact
已經瀕臨滅絕,並且有著人類一樣的反應能力和智商。
In a way of PURE friendship.

They don’t die instantly
他們暫時不會立刻死去,
they are cut 1, 2 or 3 times with thick hooks
他們重複地被粗粗的漁鉤劃傷皮膚,
And at that time the dolphins produce a grim cry like that of a new born child.每當這個時候,我們能否聽到他們像初生嬰兒一樣稚嫩而又無力的啼哭聲?

But he suffers and there’s no compassion,
但他們只能默默忍受,沒有一絲多餘的憐憫。
while this magnificent creature slowly dies in its own blood,
當這神奇的生物慢慢在自己血液的包圍中失去生命。

Letter Sent to FOX News Live Desk Show

Hi Martha & Bill:

Last week you did a story on very petite woman who harpooned and killed a huge crocodile. I must say that I was sickened by the glee in which you both expressed how impressed you were with this woman. Let me introduce myself. I bill myself as The Conservative Animal Rights Activist. I watch you every morning along with O’Reilly and Hannity every night. I’d watch Greta, who is an animal lover, but I must watch Two and Half Men. You don't get any more conservative then that. And you also don’t have to be a left wing wing nut to be an animal rights activist. I wasn’t going to bother writing you because I am very busy with my cruelty free women’s fashion company, Saint Francis Couture, www.saintfranciscouture.com and my teaching job. However, I received a call from a gentleman in Pennsylvania who wanted a recommendation for my web provider. We got to talking about our love for animals and he mentioned that he had seen a story about a tiny woman that had killed this huge crocodile on FOX and how sick it made him and his son, who like me is a vegetarian. I also have to say that based on the words of that woman, which were, “We picked a nice one out,” that this was probably a “canned hunt.” Canned hunts are one of the most egregious forms of animal cruelty there is. Animals are raised in enclosed areas by individuals, and consequently have no fear of humans. Some of these animals are even given names that they respond to, which enables the so called hunter to get incredibly close to the totally unsuspecting animal. I saw a video shot by an undercover animal rights person at a canned hunt where a deer was herded up against a bobbed wire fence and this “hunter” was three feet away from the dear shooting again and again, while the deer, injured and terrified, was trying desperately to get away. Obviously, to no avail. Viscerally sad and disgusting to watch. And something you never forget.

I realize that a crocodile is not as cute as a dear, but it is still a living thing and does not deserve to be tortured and killed, and believe me they are tortured when killed this way. Even if it was not a canned hunt, my question is, what kind of individual takes pleasure in killing something that is of no threat to them or anyone else, and is only guilty of just trying to make a living like all of us - something that feels pain and fear just like we do. And the way in which you both expressed such, again I can’t think of a better word then “glee,” in reporting the incident, I have to say I really developed somewhat of a dislike for you both.
And, Bill, I’ve been watching you since before you came to FOX. In fact, I think you’re the reason I started watching FOX. I’m very disappointed to see this side of you. Not long ago I remember that you said that you didn’t think you should be reporting on animals at all. Was that because you don’t like them, or because they are not news worthy? In any case, you seemed to enjoy reporting on the killing of these two animals. And Martha, I was disappointed to see Megyn, (I know she is an animal lover) go to a different time period, but I had really begun to like you. Not so much anymore.

If all of that wasn’t bad enough, this morning you had a story of a high school girl killing a 300 pound bear with a bow and arrow. Again it was all so impressive to you both. If you don’t think being harpooned or killed with a bow and arrow, of which it would take many to bring down animals of the size we’re talking about, you need to think again. This is torture. And for what reason? Why is killing something in such a torturous way something to be proud of? And why do the two of you take such delight in reporting it?

When I see these stories I have to say it ruins my day on so many levels, one of which is that as much as enjoy watching FOX, I don’t want to watch your show any longer. Watching you both giggle and joke about something that is so incredibly sad is really disgusting to me. And based on the fact that I spoke to someone thousands of miles away that I have never spoken to before who feels the same, I would say that there are many of us out there that share the same emotions and opinions.
I sincerely hope that after reading this you may look at these incidents through a different prism. And I would really appreciate knowing how you feel about what I have written. If I can get one person to think differently, to think better of animals, farm animals, domestic, wild, all animals, then I am happy for having done so. If not, then you are entitled to your opinion.

Respectfully,
